Iconic camping trailer brand Airstream has launched a new way to view its Basecamp 20X adventure trailer in stunning 3D via a new augmented reality technology service. Because the pandemic has made it difficult for many to visit their local dealers, Airstream has launched this service so people can take a closer look at this Basecamp with a slightly larger layout than the original from the comfort of their own homes.

Simply scan this QR code with your phone or tablet and you can enjoy a fully immersive 3D experience of the caravan, both inside and out from your driveway or even your coffee table.

Viewing the Basecamp 20X’s exterior is exciting, but moving through the virtual aluminium walls to see the inside is something special. 

Simply move your device (smartphone or tablet) through the wall, and you’ll find yourself in the design-forward space of the 20-foot floor plan.

See details as small as the embroidered Basecamp logo on the rear seat cushions.

Take a peek through the front panoramic window to see what your view will be while cooking a delicious meal on the stovetop. Watch the rear and front tables actively convert into sleeping spaces.
