Cathargo C-COMPACTLINE

Weight saving is the name of the game with the c-compactline – it’s the lightest motorhome of all Cathargo’s integrated 3.5t premium class models. With the influx of new people interested in camping due to being forced to stay home for the holidays with COVID-19 travel restrictions, it seems a smart move to focus on more accessible 3.5t models. Cathargo has also managed to shave 15cm off the overall width of this motorhome, making it even more agile and flexible. The company is quick to point out that despite low weight and smaller external dimensions, no expense has been spared with regards to quality or comfort. This has been achieved in part by the lightweight construction Cathargo is able to utilise that means you can still have generous payloads, even in the 3.5t weight class, but also the company’s smartline furniture design that is specifically designed to fit into narrower vehicles while keeping living space at a maximum.

On the outside, this motorhome benefits from a minor facelift in terms of design, and new LED rear lights and LED daylight running lights at the front. Inside, there’s new upholstery, more ambient lighting options, a raised kitchen worktop for better room partitioning and storage and even a swivel-out shoe cabinet to hold up to four pairs of shoes. Other notable features include Truma Combi 6 warm air storage heating system, double floor with underfloor heating effect, a safety package as standard that includes airbags, ABS, hill descent control and immobiliser, and rear beds with the biggest sleeping dimensions in their class.

The final word on this motorhome is definitely had by the storage. Cathargo has managed to squeeze in an impressive amount of storage options including a heated storage compartment, a large central through-loading space with extra-low double floor storage compartment, and even a scooter garage with an interior height of up to 120cm and a load capacity of 350kg.
