Eriba reveals a new generation of Touring caravans

German caravan brand Eriba has revealed a new generation of its hugely popular Touring range of caravans, featuring a new look, better aerodynamics, strong and durable construction and all-new interiors – all of which the company says makes the range ‘anything but ordinary’.

The new Touring series will feature seven different layouts and the iconic pop-top roof design that has helped the caravan become a cult favourite in Europe.

Matthias Binder, brand manager of Eriba, said: “With the new Eriba Touring, we’re launching a product on the market that reflects the spirit of the time – not just now, but in the coming years too. A new product that represents a real evolution in the 65-year history of the Touring caravan, which boasts elegance and finesse – both inside and out.”

The key features of the new Touring range include its small dimensions when the roof is down and excellent 195cm headroom when it is open, low fuel consumption due to its aerodynamic design that is based on aircraft engineering, a choice between a fixed bed or seating area, a straight base that makes storage space easier to use, and an extended drawbar with aluminium cover to make it easier to install and use a bike carrier. There are two new equipment lines on the new Touring: the Legend featuring Biarritz furniture finish, and the Urban, featuring Tindari furniture finish. The Biarritz is a more classic look featuring wood and elegant grain, while the Tindari is a more modern, Scandinavian look with fine grain.

Across both models, users will be pleased to find a new kitchen with larger 81l absorption refrigerator, offset bed supports to make storage easier to use, new and improved overhead lockers with fleece inlay, a new lighting concept with toggle switches and ambient lighting, and Truma water heater installed behind the S heater.
