Japan Camping Car Show 2022 is ready for action

One of Japan’s largest exhibitions dedicated to camping, caravanning and motorhoming – the Japan Camping Car Show – is set to take place in Chiba City this week. The event is hosted at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, just east of Tokyo from 10 to 13 February 2022. There will be a feeling of celebration in the air after last year’s event had to be postponed until April due to COVID-19 restrictions in Japan.

The show will showcase hundreds of exhibitors including many members of the Japan Recreational Vehicle Association (JRVA), as well as many international names too such as Adria and Winnebago. As well as caravans, motorhomes and campervans, the Japan Camping Car Show will also host tents, camping accessories and companies showcasing associated outdoor activities such as fishing, picnics and motorcycle camping.

A full schedule of events and speakers will take place during the show including appearances from show ambassadors Takatoshi Kaneko, Minalo Tanaka, Taro Okada, TV stars Ken Tanaka and Tsuji Yoshi Nari, as well as a host of YouTube and social media influencers.

As you would expect, the show will take place according to strict COVID-19 safety measures that include temperature checks, mask wearing, social distancing and large amounts of hand sanitiser and disinfectant throughout the halls.
