Leading UK dealer will continue to offer servicing through lockdown

One of the UK’s leading motorhome dealerships, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld, has vowed to continue operating its enhanced service offerings in a safe way during the country’s latest coronavirus lockdown. While the dealer’s centrally located showroom in Stafford must remain closed under the latest Government restrictions, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld is keeping its 1,000 sqm service centre open and fully operational.

Ross Edwards, managing director of Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld, said: “It’s obviously disappointing to have to close our showroom for a third time in the space of 12 months, but we are pleased that we can continue a vital offering for all motorhome owners through our service centre.

“Along with our new MOT accreditation, our fully trained and authorised technicians offer chassis and engine services, habitation services and can perform any associated repairs.

“We are perfectly set up to continue services in these difficult times, with a 1,000 square metre workshop and 20 independent technical bays, while we have made additional investments in state-of-the-art infrastructure.

“The only change to our normal protocols to adhere to Covid-19 guidelines is that customers can’t remain on site with their vehicles as they would traditionally be allowed to.”

As well as servicing, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld will be providing virtual tours of motorhomes for customers, as well as a click and collect deliver service.
