Italian manufacturer Mobilvetta has captured what it calls ‘the essence of made in Italy’ with the latest revamp of its Kea range of motorhomes. The range, which encompasses five models – two Kea P low profiles and three Kea I motorhomes – all benefit from improvements in design, quality of finishings, storage space and other smart technological additions.

In terms of driving equipment, these new models are well equipped. They feature: 140HP engines, climate control, LED running lights, PE headlights, double driver and passenger airbags, traction control, cruise control and steering wheel controls for the radio. In the living areas, they benefit from Truma Combi 6 heating, light and bright furnishings, ergonomic seating designs, plenty of USB sockets and LED mood lighting.

The Kea P67 and Kea I67 (both 6.99m in length) feature a transverse bed over a maxi garage, while the Kea P86, Kea I86 *7.47m in length) have twin beds and the Kea P90 and Kea I90 feature a nautical-inspired centre bed.

The bed is available both with the mattress top at 83.4 cm from the first step and 66.4 cm (optional) which allows even easier access. This variant, of course, also affects the maximum height of the maxi-garage below, which increases from 122 cm to 105 cm: a size that guarantees ample space available for loading.

All models are equipped with a large maxi-garage, able to accommodate scooters and bicycles with easy access through two symmetrical hatches - both as standard - complete with lighting, heating and load securing hooks. The models were first showcased to the industry at Caravan Salon 2020, and have already received good interest from the market.
