Outwell expands popular Prime Air family tent range

Scandinavian camping specialist Outwell is promising style, comfort and practical features in the four new family tents it recently added to its popular Prime Air collection. The four new tents – Oakdale 5PA, Birchdale 6PA, Pinedale 6PA and Sundale 7PA ­– include a host of features and innovations that Outwell is known for including quick and quiet access, embossed Outtex 4000 Select fabric and pre-bent Rigid Air System inflation tubes. Those tubes, combined with Outwell’s Floating Guyline and Lite Pegging Systems, mean that all Prime Air tents stay sturdy during poor weather – correctly pitched it is claimed they can withstand a Force 9 storm.

There are also many features that make these tents ideal for families or new campers, such as being easy to pitch, luminous guys to avoid tripping, Easy Access System so the groundsheet at the entrance can lie flat on the ground, large mesh panels behind doors as well as rear ventilation system and dark inner curtains to allow fine tuning of air and light entering the bedroom.

Other features include new heavy-duty twin zips at the outer doors for even easier operation, tinted windows to reduce the sun’s glare while maintain privacy and views out, multi-position toggle-up curtains, Sewn-in Ground System and Hook Track System to tailor hanging points.

These additions that the number of models in the Prime Air range up to an impressive 17, offering choice for campers of all needs and persuasions.

Birchdale 6PA – two-zone tent with huge living space and room to sleep six in three -split bedroom.

Pinedale 6PS – sleeps six in a three/three configured bedroom split.

Sundale 7PA – large three-zone tent sleeping seven in a two/three/two split.
