Leading producer of luxury RVs the REV Recreation Group claims it is continuing to set the bar high for advancements in the industry with its new range of RVs and motorhomes for 2022. The company, which owns brands including Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, American Coach, Renegade RV, Midwest Automotive Designs and Lance is bringing a range of industry-first furnishings, cutting-edge lithium battery technology and much more to its 2022 ranges in a bit to provide customers with leading innovation and design.

So, what’s new from REV Recreation Group brands for 2022?

What’s new from Fleetwood RV?

The team at Fleetwood RV believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home, so why shouldn’t it be the heart of your mobile home too? The brand debuts two new advancements for 2022: a patent-pending convertible dinette table and one of the first stationary islands in a Class A motorhome. With both of these additions Fleetwood has aimed to stay true to its family-focussed and accessible indulgence ethos.

Product manager for REV Recreation Group, Doug Miller, said: “Everyone gathers in the kitchen, so we designed elements that accommodate how people live today. The island lends itself to preparing a meal together and entertaining family and friends and our Adap-table Dinette provides seating for four.”

That aforementioned Adap-table Dinette is a multi-purpose station that can be used as a workstation or a breakfast bar for two – it can even cater for four when the table is swung out vertically.

The bunk room is another area of the coach where Fleetwood RV has applied practical innovation with owner comfort in mind. Select models now feature a top bunk that can be flipped up to create additional wardrobe space. A bar, secured by magnets, slides in to create 65-70 inches of hanging space.

 

What’s new from American Coach?

Already an award-winning provider of luxury RVs, American Coach has given the living areas of its 2022 a fresh look and also revisited its popular theatre seating system. The oversized loungers that the brand is famed for are extremely comfortable, but their downside is that they take up valuable floorspace. To address that, American Coach has worked with its specialist furniture supplier to create all-new Zero Proximity seating.

Doug explained: “On a yearly basis, we review and examine all of the individual areas of our coaches and focus on making continual improvements and advancements that elevate our owner experience.”

 

What’s new from Renegade RV?

The sun is at the centre of innovation from Renegade RV for 2022. The brand, which is a pioneer in diesel super C motorhomes, is offering users the opportunity to remove the generator of the RV and use an enhanced lithium power pack instead. Using 300watt solar panels, these can stay topped up off-grid.

Product development manager for Renegade RV, Victor Quezada, said: “Owners appreciate the fact they can go off the grid and be self-reliant and self-sustaining with the battery pack and solar power. There are other ancillary benefits as well. By removing the generator, we’ve reduced weight on the chassis and have also freed up valuable basement storage space.”

Renegade is also giving its IKON model a serious technology makeover with the addition of the high-end, full-integration Garmin Multi-Plex System that features 15inch touchscreens allowing users to control every element of their RV.

 

What’s new from Midwest Automotive Designs?

Custom Sprinter van converter Midwest Automotive Designs is another brand in the REV Recreation Group that is focussing on lithium battery advancements. It is launching an Eco-Freedom Package on its RVs that gives owners 600amp service from a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery power system that ensures the coach can run for up to three days without using any generator power.

Jake Stephenson, director of sales and marketing of Midwest Automotive Designs, said: “We’re removing propane from the coach and instead using battery power, which makes owners feel safer and more comfortable.”

 

What’s new from Lance Camper?

Known as one of the first composite-built truck camper and travel trailer manufacturers to make rooftop solar panels available as an OEM option, Lance is further recognising the benefits of solar power in its 2022 range. Lance was also one of the first RV companies to incorporate CNC machines. The automated CNC process ensures the consistent cutting of materials and delivers accuracy of parts for each Lance Camper. Lance’s state-of-the-art production facility includes advanced lamination elements. Year-round, the company’s facility is temperature and humidity-controlled for a superior wall and floor manufacturing process.
