When most people think of a Cathargo motorhome, they think of a purpose built, a-class-style vehicle that’s big on quality but perhaps also big on price too. Enter a new curveball from the German company – the c-tourer T, a coachbuilt motorhome that offers the premium levels of quality, design and performance you’d expect from Catahrgo but at a more accessible price and useability for beginners.

The motorhome can be built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or Fiat Ducato base, depending on the model you choose, and features all the great external design and lighting you’d expect from larger Cathargo models. It also has the same internal lighting, storage and upholstery options you see in the more expensive models in the range.

The c-tourer T, like the I, is split into Lightweight (five models) and Comfort (three models) – all of which feature a reasonably short maximum length of just 7.1m. Despite this, the clever floorplan designs and features like smartline furniture and intelligent storage options make the living spaces in these motorhomes feel very large. These motorhomes are eye-catching and offer a chance for those who prefer coachbuilt designs to enjoy the luxury of a Cathargo without breaking the bank – again another smart business move given the increased number of newcomers to camping and motorhoming around the world.
